Caleb Southerland – Pastor of Teaching & Vision

Caleb is the founding pastor of the Urban Hills Church community and carries a vision for the city to see the gospel transform and renew Las Colinas and the surrounding areas. Caleb and his wife, Tiffany married in 2007 and both are lifelong residents of Las Colinas and Irving, TX. Caleb met Jesus at an early age and began preparing for a life of equipping others by attending Texas Tech University where he earned a degree in Business Management. Feeling the call to plant gospel-centered churches; Caleb attended Dallas Theological Seminary and completed a Master of Theology degree in 2009. He enjoys college football, hockey…well pretty much all things sports and quality time with his wife.

David Bailey- Pastor of Missional Communities

David is the pastor of missional communities for the Urban Hills community. He has a passion to help others develop a transformational relationship with Jesus Christ. David and his wife, Doneda married in 2004 and live in Las Colinas. Doneda was blessed by God with an amazing voice and serves on the worship team. David is also a middle school math teacher where he continues to make a huge difference in the lives of youth. He is originally from Pittsburg where he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh receiving a BA in Business and Economics. He later went on to receive a Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. David and Doneda have one son, DJ, and are looking forward to extending their family in the near future. Even though he is a Stealers fan he still has amazing character and is an outstanding leader.


Jon Freeman- Media Director

Jon is the media director for the Urban Hills community. He joined our community shortly before its launch. He has taken classes at The Criswell College majoring in Biblical Studies and Youth Ministry. In the spring of 2009, he was certified as a Pastoral Counselor through the guidance and leadership of Dayspring Center for Counseling. His focus now is to continue his journey towards counseling where he can provide compassion to those who are hurting and point them to the ultimate source of comfort and peace, Jesus Christ.
